Artist Statement:
The process of making forms and altering them keeps me exploring. I am constantly inspired by the natural landscape and all creative expressions evolving. My work is functional dinner ware and sculptural art pieces. Carving, painting and illustrating are some of the techniques I use. I work in cone 6 electric and spray my glazes.

Biography:
Creating is an essential part of my life, as I have worked in a variety of mediums throughout my life from wood carving to pastel painting. I graduated from Graphic Design in 2000. I took a night class in pottery in 2004 and the clay resonated with me. I have been learning, and creating in clay ever since. I continue to educate myself through daily work, attending workshops and courses and reading.
